Sarah Sky was born in France, studied Literature in New York, and now lives in Guatemala. Her studies, travels, and experiences living in different cultures provide the inspiration for her lush expansive abstracts.

Her works are made up of contrasts between grey, vivid, and pastel tones, and organic and geometric forms. Her technique is varied and an integral part of how she creates. Pigmented pools of rich color represent the passage and unpredictability of time, two elements that contribute to the value of the present.

Sarah Sky paints as a reflection of gratitude for the present and the preservation of moments that make up a life well lived.

Among her achievements is her successful debut in JUANNIO 2020, one of Latin America’s most noteworthy art auctions, and a comprehensive solo exhibition in Abu Dhabi opening in December 2024.
