What a joy it was to finish this project right in time for the holidays. With two-story high walls, this sleek home in the heart of Hollywood provided a challenge that an oversized (90 inches tall) magical woodcut print from Cuba more than solved. The graphic black and white harmonizes with the marble tables and an earlier purchase of a stunning abstract by Andrea Welton – another equally dynamic Welton placed in the stairwell. A moment of serenity over a charming sitting area created by a horizon painted to reflect the shifting colors of the sunrise over water. The large-scale diptych above the Chesterfield black leather couch however truly was the kismet moment, matching the color and accessories perfectly.
