With skylights and classical architectural detailing, this home has the potential to carry both traditional and high-contemporary works. Bold, worldly choices were made including the performance photography of Cecilia Paredes in the dining room, elegant and edgy abstracts in the entranceway from Jeff Peters, Sheffield England’s Nick Grindrod, and masterpieces down the stairwell and above the mantlepiece from Salvadorian abstractionist Oscar Soles. Two beautiful cloud paintings from Laguna College of Art and Design graduate Melanie LaMay pay homage to the local art community (Jeff Peters was also a professor at the college). Last but not least the collage work of David Krovblit adds wit and the spirit of hosting friends around the piano.
