When Carla was helping me with the feature on Lucas, she was just about to set off on a whirlwind trip through Latin America. Today we are excited to share photos of Carla’s trip with you and reveal a preview of some of the works the gallery will be exhibiting in the future. Carla travelled for 10 days to 3 countries and met with 26 different Artists. And as you’ll see in the photos…she did this gruelling trip whilst pregnant!
“You could say I overdid it, which is not rare for me, but it was amazing. I came back with my hard drive full to overflowing, but I have since digested and I am thrilled about the line up of shows we are going to have in the next six months.
I take these trips a few times a year. I like to know my Artists inside and out.
There is not one thing that can compare to spending a few hours inside an Artists studio. You see a piece that is in the corner, turned away and you discover the best piece they have and an amazing concept behind it.
I like to go deep and discover. It is the only way.”
